The factors that make NDT more essential include: \nIt enables the substance or object under test without suffering damage\, saving time\, money\, and materials4. \nRoutine checks using NDT can guarantee high standards of safety and security for both the employees and the equipment.

DESCRIPTION:ISTD STUDENT CHAPTER The Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD)\, established in April 1970\, is a national level professional & non-profit society registered under the Societies Registration Act\, 1860. It has a large membership of individuals and institutions involved in the area of training and development of Human Resource. \n  \nISTD has been registered with GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNIC VISAKHAPATNAM students. ISTD Student Chapter has been inaugurated on Feb 22nd 2023. This function has been inaugurated by Sri G .V.V Satyanarayana Murty\, Principal of the institute and in the presence of ISTD student chapter chairman Visakhapatnam Dr. O Ram Mohan Rao and Honorary Secretary Dr. Hema Yadavalli. \n  \nIndian Society for Training and Development (ISTD) \, organized a program on Communication Skills on 22.02.2023 at Government Polytechnic\, Visakhapatnam. Chief Guest Dr Hema Yendavalli\, honorary secretary ISTD\, lead the program and presented a very good session on communication skills. More than hundred ISTD student chapter members have participated in the program.   ISTD Chairman and former General Manager of Steel Plant Dr. O Rammohan Rao\, attended as a guest of honor in this meeting. The program was attended by various heads of departments and faculty of the college.

DESCRIPTION:YOUTH FESTIVAL : was celebrated at Government Polytechnic Visakhapatnam  as a part of the program Swamy SWASAM VEDYANANDA MAHARAJ\, Secretary\, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama\, Visakhapatnam\, delivered depths of the teachings of Swami Vivekananda emphasizing ‘CHARACTER BUILDING AND PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT IN YOUTH’ on 04.01.2023 at 3.00 PM about 600 students participated in the program. \nJAGRUTI COMPETETION : Jagruti cultural & literary competition has been conducted by Ramakrishna Mission on 09.01.2023 on the occasion of  Youth day at Government Polytechnic Visakhapatnam. \n  \nDEPARTMENT OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION YOUTH FESTIVAL 2023 GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNIC\, VISAKHAPATNAM 4 th January 2023 In commemoration of the Birth anniversary of Swamy Vivekananda\, week-long celebrations are being carried out in Govt. Polytechnic\, Visakhapatnam\, in tune with the guidelines issued by the Department of Technical Education\, A.P.\, Vijayawada. As a part of the scheduled programme Swamy SWASAM VEDYANANDA MAHARAJ\, Secretary\, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama\, Visakhapatnam\, was gracious enough to accept our invitation and address our students in the afternoon session of 4th January 2023\, between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Swamiji Maharaj has delved into the depths of the teachings of Swami Vivekananda emphasizing ‘CHARACTER BUILDING AND PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT IN YOUTH’. Maharaj further stressed on the need for patriotism in the youngsters for building a strong Character\, Community and Country. About 600 students (both girls and boys) attended the meeting and were spell-bound by the inputs of Swamiji. A beautiful plant was presented to his Honour\, as a token of respect from the Institution. Further\, free books namely\, ‘CHICAGO ADDRESSES’ (both in English and Telugu) and ‘SPHURTHI MANTRALU’ (Telugu) were distributed by the volunteers of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama to all the students. The following books in Telugu namely 1. ‘SWAMI VIVEKANANDA SAMAGRA SAPRAMAANIKA JEEVITHA GADHA’ (Vol.1 & 2) for first prize\, 2. set of 6 books namely ‘YUVATHA MELKONDI’ for second prize and 3. ‘SPHURTHI MANTRALU’ for third prize are purchased for distribution for various literary and cultural activities on the eve of YOUTH FESTIVAL 2023
